My phone storage hates me, and honestly it has every right to. I take photos and videos of everything, even the random little moments that probably don’t need documenting, but it just makes me happy to have them. I’ve always valued memories, so my camera roll is basically a chaotic archive of my life, my friends, my family, and anything that makes me smile.
I’m also the oldest daughter, which explains a lot about me. I’m very Type A in the sense that I like things organized and I like knowing what is happening, but I’m not strict about it. I love having a plan, but if things change I won’t spiral. I’m definitely not a Type B who wings it, so I guess that leaves me somewhere in the unofficial Type C zone. I love structure, but I can still go with the flow when life shifts a little.
If you’re into personality tests and zodiac signs, I’m an Enneagram 2w3, an ENFJ-T, and a Libra, and I find all of that stuff very entertaining. Even if it’s not that deep, I love learning why people are the way they are and what makes them feel understood. It’s one of those things that makes meeting new people and connecting with them feel natural to me, both in my work and in my everyday life.

Outside of photography, I’m all about the little things that make life feel good. I love hopping into photo booths, eating way too many Nerds gummy clusters, spending time by the beach, or going on a hike when I’m craving fresh air. Music has always been a big part of my life, so I still sing and play guitar whenever I get the chance. Most of my free time is spent with friends or family, usually with a hot chocolate or lemonade nearby, just enjoying good company and low-key moments.
Ever since I was a little girl, I have been a person who’s always talking. I call myself a “people person”, because I feel recharged and comfortable when I’m surrounded by other humans. I have been painting and drawing for as long as I can remember, and I have sung and played multiple instruments from a very young age. I find that I can express myself the best through arts, whether that is visual, oral, or audial, through a picture, a song, or a speech.
When I was 9 years old, my aunt got a Canon Rebel T3, a digital camera. She asked me to be in charge of taking pictures of my cousin, her daughter's baptism, and I agreed with a lot of enthusiasm. After that day, I would have never guessed that my life had been forever changed for the better. I developed an interest and a passion for photography, and I was eager to learn more about it.
When I turned 12, I was able to get my own camera with all of my savings, a Canon Rebel T7i. I later started to experiment with different lights, settings, and subjects, and discovered my passion for portraits. Whether this was taking posed pictures of people, candid moments, or events, I found it fascinating how a picture can say more than a thousand words. Not only do I enjoy the beauty of photographs and capturing a moment, but I strive to see people’s real emotions, and get excited for their reactions when they get the pictures back.
Through my photography I strive to be able to capture people’s moments in life, big or small. I aim to photograph special rites of passage such as weddings, however I am more than happy to help people find the beauty in their daily life activities.
