What’s the best way to contact you?
The best way to contact me is through the contact form on this website, by email (macarenabazo.photo@gmail.com), or if it is urgent, an Instagram DM should be your best bet. A week out from your shoot, I’ll send you my phone number so we can iron out final details over text!
How soon will I get back photos?
I will give you sneak peeks within 24 hours of your shoot. The rest of your gallery will be sent around 2-3 weeks after our shoot date (unless stated otherwise in package description).
Do you shoot events?
Yes! My main goal is to do weddings, so I want as much event experience as possible. However, events are not included with a set price because everyone is different and people might want different amounts of coverage in terms of time, amount of pictures, etc. If you would like me to capture your event, feel free to email me and I will create the best package to suit your needs!
Do you limit the amount of pictures you send?
No! Not at all! The numbers you see in each package just reflect the minimum amount of pictures you are guaranteed to get. I (pretty much always) deliver more than the minimum amount. I will give back as many pictures as possible, all of the ones that turned out well, with no additional charge.
Can you send me the raw files?
I do not deliver the raw (unedited) files. I understand how some people might think it is easier for me not to edit them and deliver, but I would much rather take more time on a gallery and give you back the best result, than just giving you half of my work. Plus, you hired me for a reason! My editing style is one of the most important parts of my brand, so I will give you back all the best pictures.
Do you require a retainer to book?
Yes! In order to confirm your photo shoot, I will need a 50% retainer for regular sessions and 30% for weddings, and the rest needs to be paid 24 hours before the shoot. However, for big investments like weddings or events, we can talk about a payment plan that suits your needs.
What should I wear for my session?
I always recommend neutrals and clothes that have movement! Once you book your session I'll send you a guide with some mood boards and inspiration, and if that isn't enough, I'm more than happy to help you and assist you in any way I can!
What if the weather is bad on the day of my session?
Unfortunately, we can't control the weather, it happens! In case of extreme weather, we'll reschedule with no additional cost. Alternatively, we can move the session to an indoor location if you'd like.
How far in advance should I book my session?
I always say the sooner the better, but I'd say for regular sessions around 2-3 weeks before is the usual. Around the busy season (summer, holidays, etc), I'd suggest a month in advance, especially if you'd like a weekend session. For events I'd recommend booking at least 3-4 months in advance, but once again the sooner the better. If you want a session sooner than those times, I'd still suggest inquiring and hopefully we can figure something out!
How will I receive my photos?
You will receive your photos through an online gallery that you will be able to download. Everything is customized to you, you can download your photos in high resolution, and share the gallery with anyone you'd like.
Can I add a second shooter for my wedding?
Yes! If you would like a second photographer for your wedding day, just let me know! This is something you'd probably want to consider if you have different getting ready locations or if you simply want your day captured from more than one perspective.
